Bits and Pieces or A Royal Wedding and a Funeral

02/05/2011

When a Prince decided to wed his bride, there was talk as to why the President of the United States of America was unable to attend. Now we know. Osama Bin Laden is no more. In a pursuit that has lasted 10 years, Osama has offed his mortal coil. This changes a lot of things and it changes nothing.

The secrecy enshrouding Guantanamo Bay has borne fruit and the Waldo of the world has finally been found.

It is interesting to playback the news after events. To attempt to piece together what was announced now we have facts after the fact.

  • The President and his wife would be unable to attend the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Catherine. A little bit of news but never really pursued.
  • A 12 year old boy becomes the youngest suicide bomber. An unusual but unexpected sad turn of events. Or was it?
  • The Internet world announces the death of Osama Bin Laden before the President gets a chance to hold a press conference that is hastily called, and delayed.

So what will all this mean. Reports indicate that this was not a drone attack. Troops were sent in. Why? You cant claim a body from a drone.

So troops were sent, and they went in and eradicated Bin Laden. His body we are told was claimed by the troops. Further we are told that the Pakistani’s were told after the fact.

Perhaps there is concern that if the Pakistani’s were told, Bin Laden would have escaped. If so then Pakistan/USA relations are going to change very soon.

In between the wedding and this announcement/revelation, we are told a 12 year old loaded himself up with explosives and detonated himself in a market in Afghanistan.

Did this have anything to do with anything?

Well, lets say that the US sat on the information for at least 24 hours. Maybe more. If so, then yes, the bombing may indeed be linked.

Is the sad part that Al Qaeda is so depleted, they are now sending boys to do the jobs the men do not.

Is it the good part that Al Qaeda is so depleted, they are now sending boys to do the jobs the men do not.

What is more freaky is in before the nuptials of the royal wedding, Barrack Obama had to actually release his birth certificate. Weird. Or was it?

Today, Barrack Obama, now accepted as a fully fledged America, announced the death of Osama Bin Laden. Perhaps the doubt would have spoiled all that. And so doubt was removed. Interesting was the images post the announcement.

Here are people joyously celebrating a death.

Here are people joyously celebrating a wedding.

Here are people joyously celebrating a death.

And people say we have nothing in common with ‘those people’.

Of course I could be seeing things that are not really there.

Or I can see clearly now.
