Religious and cultural doom and gloom

Bernardi, Morrison and Abbott trying to sell their anti-islam policy.

Battle lines have been drawn, and swords of the crusaders are being held aloft.

After a week of a murky game of he said/he meant, Corey Bernadi told the nation exactly what he thinks Scott Morrison said and meant.

Further the fact that no comment was released by Tony Abbott’s office post Bernardi airing his views indicate not only does Abbott not find what Bernardi said as dangerous, but he agrees with him.

The Coalition are still playing the ‘context’ game. Whether the dunes of Afghanistan or a Coalition cabinet meeting, they always claim context.

But it is no longer an issue of what Morrison said or meant or its context. Because now this entire incident has to be taken into context with everything the Coalition has done. From its current outburst to its covert attempts to prevent the building of Islamic schools.

From the manner they treat refugees. From their preference under the Howard government to increase the intake from Sudan and Ethopia and thereby cut off the intake of those fleeing war in the middle east.

This is no longer about politics.

This is strictly a our god is better than your god game.

If they had been elected, we would have gone down a path that would end in religious segregation. And its only a hop skip and jump from there to the gas chambers.

Do you seriously think we are better than those humans in our past?

We are not. We are the same. And hate is such an easy emotion to lose yourself in.

Three cheers for separation of church and state in this country right?
