“They’re here.”

06/10/2010

I loved that line from Poltergeist. And it was pretty freaky too at the time for a guy who liked to spend Friday evenings watching b-grade Horror shows and Sunday afternoons watching Leonard Nimoy narrate the “In Search of”  series. They would lead you up always just to let you down though so it was always a let down. Is there or is there not an Abominable snow man? Or a Sasquatch? What about vampires? Werewolves? Aliens?

Oh yeah. I did have something to say on Aliens a while back. Something to do with the UN creating an actually ‘take me to your leader’ body. More here.

So you could probably wonder what I made of my recent searches into the… BEYOND!!!!! (insert scary music here). This footage of an event that shut down an airport in China on the 9th of  July this year.

Firstly, a news report.

Now it looks much more impressive with an aptly chosen audio track.

Pretty spooky huh? But wait! There’s more! It made it to the press in the west! Here is what it looked like in the UK

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1293395/UFO-China-closes-Xiaoshan-Airport-spotted-flying-city.html

All very mysterious huh? Especially after that announcement I mentioned by the UN in my other blog. But the UK article does seem to indicate that the Chinese were aware of what it was but could not say anything due to what the paper said was a ‘military connection’.

Now it looks like that there is some kind of cover up right? Well no. You see, there really was no secret if you knew where to look… out there!! The best thing about the Internet is there is data out there if you look. You just need to put it all together. But I’ll keep you suspense because there has been yet another sighting of mysterious things in the sky in China.

The most recent one is in September. This time The Australian got in on the action.

Witnesses say they saw a bright light shining in the sky close to Baotou airport, Inner Mongolia, on September 11, the UK’s Daily Telegraph reported.

The video, in case you skipped the article in the Oz was uploaded here.

Okay that was pretty well banal really. Some odd spots in the sky.  Still that’s something right? Seeing is believing right?

Sorry. I am about to do to you what the “In Search Of” show did to me. Leave me pretty disappointed. You see that second video made me ask what other objects would have such a large propulsion stream and it then breaks off into stages? (about 30 odd seconds into the video with the music)

From http://www.space.com/missionlaunches/launches/launch_schedule.html (that’s right folks. There is a website with data about space launches)

July 10: An International Launch Services Proton rocket will launch the new EchoStar 15 communications satellite from the Central Asian spaceport of Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan. 2:40 p.m. EDT (1840 GMT).

Do a little maths here people. Remember that first incident in July? Kazakhstan is about 3-4 hours after GMT (EDT is Eastern Daylight Time and refers to America’s east coast. The 10th in America would be, yes that’s right the 9th in China. The site I gave you has last been updated in very early July and it is possible that the time mentioned was changed. 9pm in East China is about 1pm GMT. And it is quite probable that those wacky Kazakhstanis’ launched earlier than anticipated. In fact, I wont say probable so much as state that as a fact.

Now lets look at ‘mysterious event’ two.

September 1: A United States Air Force Minotaur 4 rocket to launch the Space Test Program S26 mission, which includes multiple payloads from the USAF, NASA and others, from Kodiak Island in Alaska.

September 7: A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket to launch a classified reconnaissance satellite (NROL-41) for the National Reconnaissance Office from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

September 8: A Russian Soyuz rocket to launch the unmanned Progress 39 cargo ship from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to deliver new supplies to the crew of the International Space Station.

September: An Arianespace Soyuz rocket to launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to orbit six new Globalstar mobile communications satellites.

September: An Arianespace Ariane 5 rocket to launch the W3B and BSAT 3b communications satellites for Eutelsat and Japan from Guiana Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana.

Looks like those cosmonauts may have been at it again. What I don’t understand is why they newspapers did not do a simple Internet search?  Well actually I do. You see you don’t sell newspapers printing the truth. That’s boring.

What you propose is a possible explanation for what people saw from the ground. What about the radar operators at the airport that needed to redirect traffic to avoid collisions with the object? Also, if one believes these are simply military exercises, why is the Chinese military consistently interfering with civilian air operations? Until these remaining questions can be reasonably answered, the object remains “unidentified.”

    • It is clearly not an Alien craft. An Alien craft does not stage. So what does stage? Man made rockets. What was launched on the 9th of July? A man made rocket.
